In co-operation with Sarcheshme Copper Investment Co., Kolo Veidekke started building the asphalt core at the Miduk water-retaining dam for Miduk Copper Project in October 2004.
The Miduk Copper Project is located 42 km north-east of Sharbabak town in Kerman province in the south of Iran. The contract included supply of specialist assistance as advisors, supervision and supplies of specialised plant and equipment for the construction of the asphalt core and transition zones.
